MAZOWE DUO – Standard & Angler 430 versions
Perfect for families and friends who like to paddle together, nothing can beat the Mazowe Duo family kayak… now also available in the MAZOWE DUO ANGLER 430 version.
The Mazowe Duo will forever change your perception of what a double sit-on-top is actually capable of. This kayak, carrying two people and their gear, can really move! Its hull is designed to reduce drag, maintain a straight course and respond quickly to paddle strokes to change direction. The Mazowe Duo’s most valuable feature is that there is a substantial distance between the seats of the front and rear paddlers to give the rear paddler enough space for a full paddle stroke without worrying that their paddle will hit the front paddler. Paddle cutaways – for both paddlers – mean that both can enjoy a full paddle stroke without clipping the paddle blade against the deck.
The Mazowe Duo is designed to carry two people with their gear stowed on the deck. That’s why we’ve got a sizeable tank-well behind the rear paddler and we’ve let the foot-well of the rear paddler flow into another tank-well in the middle of the boat to maximize the available storage space.
Multi-fits around the tank-well serve as attachment points for tie-downs, bungee cords, ropes and clips to strap-down gear on the deck. The 8″ Screw Hatch at the front is watertight and it is ideal for items that need to be stowed away more securely. Each paddler also has a Paddle Rest, to secure their paddle to the deck when hands are needed, as well as Bottle Holders. Where double sit-on-top 2-seater kayaks are concerned, the Mazowe Duo is a game changer.

CHILDREN
Children will love paddling the Mazowe with you or with a friend. The Mazowe has so much space that more than two children can climb onboard, using the two Tankwells as additional seating for smaller passengers.
DOG-FRIENDLY
Dogs can be seated in the bigger Tankwell behind the rear paddler or in the center Tankwell in front of the rear paddler. Line the tankwell with a foam mat to prevent their paws sliding so that they can sit upright to enjoy the scenery.
FLAT WATER
With the power of two paddlers and a hull shaped for speed, the Mazowe Duo can really move on flatwater. Use the 8″ Screw Hatch and the two tankwells for gear. The Mazowe is great for overnight trips.
TOURING
The Mazowe has the comfort and enough speed for long trips, but it doesn’t really have the packing space required for two people. For this reason, it is not a great touring kayak.
FISHING
Now available as an angler version with fitted rod-holders, deck-brackets & anchor trolley. Suitable for flat-water inland & lagoon fishing.
OCEAN
The Mazowe will reward you with great experiences on the sea – shared with a paddling partner. Use Thigh Straps attached to the Clip Rings to keep you on the deck should a wave catch you by surprise. Thigh straps also allow for greater control.
OCEAN SURF
The Mazowe can punch through waves to get you behind the breakers and then back to shore, but it has not been designed to ride tubes. For real wave surfing, get our Dumbi kayak instead.
WHITEWATER
While river tripping is a pleasure on the Mazowe, keep to sections of the river with smaller rapids. Use Thigh Straps attached to the Clip Rings for better control.
SUP
We don’t recommend paddling the Mazowe from a standing position but we do recommend standing up on the Stand-Up Platform to stretch your legs while you’re out on the water.
